Step aside Hollywood—Toronto is the new celebrity hot spot this week as stars flocked to the Canadian city for the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival. Movie stars from Natalie Portman to Lupita Nyong’o are pulling out all the stops on the red carpet as they promote their new films, but what exactly is happening when the cameras aren’t rolling? Fashionhedonist takes you behind the scenes at the venue to the TIFF green room, which was sponsored by Fendi.
In the luxurious backstage area, everyone from Nicole Kidman of Lion to Chris Pratt and Denzel Washington of The Magnificent Seven and Snowden stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley could relax and unwind with fresh fruit, gourmet popcorn, and lattes. Fendi made the green room a stop on the #FendiRoadTrip by bringing a truck (known as the Fendi Ape car) filled with personalized pompoms and luxurious bags to the premises.
Dakota Fanning, who stars in the upcoming film American Pastoral, couldn’t help but have fun with the pop-up accessories bar and even posed with a keychain emblazoned with her initial, “D.”
