My Coachella: Jamie Chung’s Music Festival Survival Kit Includes Hot Sauce

Looks like Jamie Chung is taking a cue from Beyoncé. The Big Hero 6 actress and Coachella regular, who recently celebrated her 33rd birthday while filming a pilot for NBC’s new legal drama Miranda’s Rights, arrived at the festival ready to keep the party going. But first, we caught up with her at PANDORA Jewelry’s tent on-site, where she shared some of her festival essentials, including hot sauce in her bag (swag).

Birthday Tradition: The show’s amazing catering crew brought me a delicious cake and sang to me just as I stepped out on my lunch break. Then, when I got back to my hotel at the end of the day, I was surprised with cupcakes and flowers. The restaurant had just closed, but my castmates convinced the manager to keep it open for an extra 30 minutes so we could have a quick bite!

In Her Coachella Crew: I brought my sister and sister-in-law and a bunch of my girlfriends—three were in my bridal shower. There were about 20 of us!

New Additions to Her Suitcase: Brand-new Levi’s denim cut-offs with patches and a beautiful yellow midi dress by For Love & Lemons ($453; asos.com).

Jewelry Approach: Leather bracelets and chokers from PANDORA Jewelry’s festival collection. And a bandana to wear around your neck in case the dust kicks up!

In Her Emergency Kit: Tabasco sauce, ChapStick, SPF, a phone charger, Band-Aids, and an empty bottle to fill up at water stations throughout the festival. It gets to be 90°F, so hydration is an absolute must.
