Blake Lively may wear the fashion crown in her household, but husband Ryan Reynolds knows a thing or two about style. The 39-year-old actor and soon-to-be father of two has been named Piaget’s new international brand ambassador, a role that reflects Reynolds’s gentlemanly demeanor and dapper sensibility.
In the lead campaign image above, the Deadpool star lends his killer smile to the camera, delivering a half smirk as he makes eye contact and shows off a classic timepiece from the brand. “I’m very happy to join the Piaget family. I’ve known of Piaget since I was just a little kid. You can’t find a more iconic brand, or one which better exemplifies craftsmanship, elegance and creativity. This is something that means a lot to me,” he said in a statement. “I work in a field in which things can be cast away quite quickly. So when you find something iconic, something timeless, it’s important. And that’s one of the many things I love about Piaget.”
This isn’t the first time Reynolds has teamed up with an establishment he loves. He’s previously rolled his sleeves up to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of keeping trees alive through partnering with Eddie Bauer and American Forests.
